My first photography project as a master’s student (inspired by photographer Cindy Sherman). The shift from a typographical focus to a concentration on photography (documenting the human experience) was a defining moment in my track. I’m reminded of my sensei (RIP) and from the day he met me he would say “why aren’t you studying photography??!”. All i said was “i don’t have a camera”. Then he ate me alive… What a reminder! (My nana found this project tucked away in a closet… and said “WOW”… My passion has been renewed since yesterday- and today was the icing on the cake… (**note: the original photography doesn’t have the x’s over the face & mouth. For the sake of anonymity, I’m changing the work to include the X’s) P.
Made an airplane out of June “Joon”. Threw it around outside for a while… flew and crashed it… then it was time to let it go. Play imitates life.

Mon dieu… I have a bad habit of biting my lip… You know that dry little patch you sometimes get on your bottom lip… Yeah that… And then… ow.
